CAT-2014 notification has come and students will have to take the exam on either of two days- 16 November and 22 November. Results will declare in December. Exam is conducted by IIM Indore and in path of making the exam Aspirants friendly, exam duration has been increased to 170 minutes in lieu of 140 minutes. Also students have option to give more or less time to any specific section. Students can easily switch over to other section at any time during examination.

Changes in CAT 2014
  • Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning will consist 50 question this year instead of 30 question.
  • Students have flexibility to give more or less time to any specific section. At ant point students can easily switch over from one section to another section during examination.
  • Tutorial facility before the start of examination has been removed this year.
  • First time TCS will conduct the CAT examination with IIM – Indore.
How to prepare:
Start with basic. Clear your fundamental concepts. Start solving previous year exam papers. First solve simple questions and move to difficult question. Do revision and mock test.
Speed and accuracy is very important in CAT exams. So keep practicing.Remember ” more practice, more accuracy”. For knowledge base start reading news paper, magazines. Improve your vocabulary. Improve you time management.
